Update! (September 2008)
As a result of the Caravan for Kids Drive, we were able to present the Make-A-Wish representative in San Diego with a check for $16,001. Since then, we have been informed that an additional $3,500 has been committed to raise the total to nearly $20,000. They tell us that it takes an average of $7,000 to satisfy a child’s wish, so we have provided nearly enough for three children.
