1956 Austin Healey 100M

The 100M was a performance model built by Austin Healey on their 100/4 BN2 platform. It boasted higher performance and better handling. Only 640 were built. The factory performance modifications included high compression pistons, a heavier front sway bar, louvered bonnet, larger carburetors, a special distributor, cold air box. Most had a two tone paint scheme

Many of these performance options were available through the dealers, so when buying a 100M it is important that the car is accompanied by documentation, including certification by the 100M registry, showing that the car left the factory as a 100M.

The car we have for sale as a fully restored 100M produced on March 14 or 1956. It’s been restored and its original colors of white over blank with a black leather interior and black top. The car has benefited from a full mechanical restoration. It retains its matching number bonnet, trunk lid, cockpit, molding, all four pieces and engine tag. 

It comes with a Heritage trust certificate and has been in the 100M registry since 2002. 

The car is in excellent running and driving condition. It is ready for the new owner to enjoy for many years to come.
